LETS DANCE @ THE WASP

Event description

Lets Dance is proudly brought to you by the WASP and Miss Ash from Smash it Dance Studio. Ash has an abundance of experience in the entertainment industry, she has performed in Country Music film clips, Sydney Opera House, Disneyland California, choreographed whole school Rock Eisteddfod groups, danced with the Sydney Dance Company and travelled Australia working for Nickelodeon. Her passion for dance and performing is evident and we look forward to her working at the WASP.

What to expect?

(8:30-9:30am) Grade & above  - Jazz Fusion, warm up, stretch and routine. 

(9:30-10:30am) Prep/Kindy - Students will enjoy a 1hr Jazz Ballet class which is a mixture of Jazz & Ballet combined. They will start with a warm up, followed by floor work and a choreographed dance routine. Each class is modified to accommodate specific age groups.

(10:30-11:30am) Grade 1/2- Students will enjoy a 1hr Jazz Fusion class which is a mixture of Jazz & Hip hop combined. They will start with a warm up, followed by floor work and a choreographed dance routine. Each class is modified to accommodate specific age groups.

What to bring? 

Please wear comfortable clothing so they can move freely, along with their hair pulled back off their face. No shoes required, just a water bottle and a smile.

Please Note - Each Pop-Up workshop the classes will vary across all ages groups. PLEASE ONLY BOOK YOUR CHILD into the correct age group as the classes are designed to suit.

The studio doesnt have the space for parents to stay and watch the class, you are welcome to return at the end of the session or utilise the seating out in the kiosk area.
